NBT Bank Names Dave Theleman as Regional Executive

Binghamton, NY (August 31, 2026) – NBT Bank announced that Dave Thelemam has been named Regional Executive for the Binghamton market. Theleman is based at NBT Bank’s Vestal office.

Theleman joined NBT Bank in 1987 as a management trainee and has built an accomplished career spanning nearly four decades. He has cultivated deep expertise in commercial banking, credit administration and relationship management, along with a strong understanding of the Southern Tier market. Together, these strengths position him well to lead the region's continued growth and success.

During his time in commercial banking, Theleman advanced to Regional Commercial Banking Manager for the Southern Tier. In 2017, he was promoted to Chief Commercial Credit Officer, and in 2022, he was named Director of New York Affordable Housing and Construction.

Theleman is Whitney Point Central School District graduate and resides in Whitney Point, NY.
