NBT Rewards Debit Card

uChoose Rewards is a rewards program that allows you to earn points for every dollar you spend with your NBT debit card. These points can then be redeemed for various rewards, including gift cards, travel, activities, cashback and merchandise. Use points for merchant offerings on the UChoose website or Amazon Pay with Points.

Membership in uChoose Rewards is at no cost for NBT Bank cardholders.

Signing up is easy. Visit the uChoose website, follow the simple steps to create your uChoose account, and register your existing NBT debit card.

After enrolling in uChoose, you will earn 1 point for every $2 spent using your NBT debit card. You can earn more points with every purchase by shopping at one of the hundreds of retailers on the uChoose site. After logging in, limited-time reward offers to earn more points per purchase appear on your account home page, with even more offerings hosted under the “Earn More Points” section.

Points from your purchases will appear in your uChoose account after the first day of the following month. It's easy to track the progress of the rewards you’ve earned. Simply navigate to “My Rewards” to see your complete points summary.

You can redeem your points for a wide variety of rewards, including gift cards, travel, activities, cashback and countless merchandise items.

There is no cap on the number of issuer-funded points you can earn in a calendar year.

Your points will stay with you for a long time – they only expire 1,460 days (4 years) from the end of the month in which they were posted.

On the homepage of the uChoose website, your points will appear under your account name in the graphic in the upper right-hand corner. Navigate to “My Rewards” to see your complete points summary. This will tell you how many points are available to redeem now and how many will be available after the first day of the following month.

Are you short on points for the reward you want? No problem. When shopping through the merchants on the “Merchandise” section of the website, you can use your payment card to help pay for your order during checkout.

Points can be pooled between cards associated with the same checking account, provided one cardholder has set up a uChoose account. Even if multiple cardholders with the same deposit account set up separate uChoose accounts, the points will still be pooled.

The points needed vary based on the reward you choose, so you have plenty of flexibility to pick something that fits your point balance through the merchants on the “Merchandise” section of the website. Just check each item to see its point value, and if you’re a little short, don’t worry, you can make up the difference with your payment card at checkout.

Once you have at least 1,500 points, you can cash out in increments of 1,500 (1,500, 3,000, 4,500 points, and so on). It may take up to five (5) business days for your cashback to appear in your checking account.

This program is designed exclusively for NBT debit card rewards. Points cannot be shared between NBT debit and credit cards. We do, however, offer an NBT rewards credit card. Visit your nearest branch location to apply.

To ensure a smooth enrollment process, we recommend waiting 24 hours after activating your debit card before signing up for uChoose.
