Mark Schaub Named Regional Commercial Banking Manager

Portland, ME – (Semptember 10, 2025) — NBT Bank has announced the promotion of Mark Schaub to Regional Commercial Banking Manager for Maine.

“Mark’s deep connections and leadership across the region have helped shape NBT’s growth in the Maine commercial banking market,” said NBT Bank Maine Regional President Michael O’Reilly. “His bright and purpose-driven attitude keeps our teams active and engaged with each other and the Portland community.”

Schaub has over 17 years of experience in commercial banking. Prior to joining NBT, he served as a commercial lender at both TD Bank and Farm Credit East. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine in 2007. Away from the office, Schaub has spent 20 years guiding commercial whitewater rafting trips in Northern Maine.

Active in his community, Schaub serves as vice chair of the Board of Directors of Pride Portland! and has also been involved in many local organizations, including the Equality Community Center in Portland and the Maine Real Estate & Development Association.
