NBT Bank Promotes Longo to Chief Technology Officer
Norwich, NY (March 12, 2026) – NBT Bank President Joe Stagliano announced that Mike Longo is now NBT’s Chief Technology Officer.
Longo joined NBT Bank in 2012. After successfully completing the company’s Management Development Program, he became a member of the Systems Development team and advanced through roles with increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Director of Information Technology. He will continue to strengthen the unified, collaborative technology strategy he helped establish, with a forward focus on data management and artificial intelligence (AI).

Longo, a resident of Norwich, earned his master’s degree in computer information systems from Boston University and his bachelor’s degree in economic analysis and mathematics from Binghamton University. In 2024, he was recognized as one of Central New York’s 40 Under Forty and graduated from Leadership Chenango. Active in the community, he serves as President of the Board for the Downtown Norwich Business District and as the drumline instructor and percussion arranger for the Norwich High School Marching Band.
