WINSMAN EARNS FMCC FOUNDATION DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD

JOHNSTOWN, NY (November 12, 2021) - NBT Bank's Canajoharie Director of Operations, Roberta Winsman was recognized by Fulton-Montgomery Community College's Foundation with their Distinguished Alumni Award.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is given to alumni who have achieved outstanding success and made a lasting impact on their community. Winsman graduated from FMCC in 2010 with an associate degree in business administration.

“Roberta has been a passionate community advocate her entire life” said NBT Senior Director of Operations Amy Hurta. “Community service is an important core value here at NBT Bank, and we couldn't be prouder of the leader Roberta is both at the bank and within her community.”.

Winsman joined Central National Bank in 1986, which was later acquired by NBT Bank. In her first role as Thruway Teller, she was responsible for counting the coins from tollbooths. Since that time, she has held multiple positions including roles in item processing and tech services. She is now responsible for operational functions including, Item & Exception Processing, Mortgage Servicing, Purchasing, and Mail & Couriers.

Winsman has served on behalf of numerous organizations in the past, including the Mid County Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Canajoharie Flood Relief Committee, Community Chest of Canajoharie, Palatine and Root, Inman Senior Center Board of Directors, Montgomery County Office for the Aging Board of Directors, Arkell Hall Foundation Board of Directors, the FMCC Board of Trustees and the Canajoharie Community Youth Center Board of Directors.
