NBT BANK PROMOTES WHEELER TO ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT

SYRACUSE, NY (August 1, 2019) – NBT Bank Central New York Territory Manager Lori Teifke announced the promotion of Multi-Site Branch Manager Maria Rachetta Wheeler to Assistant Vice President.

Wheeler has over 33 years of branch banking experience. She joined NBT Bank in 2017 as Branch Manager for NBT’s Syracuse Marshall Street Office. In 2018, she became a Multi-Site Branch Manager and assumed the additional responsibility of managing NBT’s new Clinton Square Office.

Wheeler earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Keuka College. She is also licensed in New York State Life Insurance and Series 6 and 63. Active in her community, Wheeler is a board member for Contact Community Service and is the treasurer for the Crouse Marshall Business Improvement District.
