NBT BANK PROMOTES RATNAYAKE, WELCOMES RICHARDS

MANCHESTER, NH (July 12, 2022) –NBT Bank President of New England Stephen Lubelczyk announced the promotion of Malindra Ratnayake and welcomed J. Chad Richards to the company’s New Hampshire commercial banking team as commercial portfolio managers.

“We’re proud to expand our commercial team and look forward to the expertise brought by Malindra and Chad,” said Lubelczyk.

Ratnayake joined NBT Bank in 2013 and most recently served as the credit support team leader. In this new role, he will use his previous experience to support commercial clients with all aspects of credit, underwriting and relationship management to improve internal efficiencies while delivering a comprehensive customer experience. Ratnayake earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. He also holds a Credit Risk Certification from the Risk Management Association.

Richards brings more than a decade of commercial banking experience, including a background in credit analysis and relationship management. In his previous position, he was responsible for overseeing a diverse loan portfolio across commercial real estate, commercial and industrial (C&I), hospitality, nonprofit and healthcare industries. Richards earned a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.
