NBT BANK NAMED ONE OF CENTRAL NEW YORK'S BEST PLACES TO WORK

NORWICH, NY (May 28, 2020) – NBT Bank has been named one of Central New York’s Best Places to Work.

Best Places to Work is a program from the Central New York Business Journal (CNYBJ) that recognizes and celebrates the region’s leading employers based on employee surveys.

“This recognition means so much to us as it represents a true reflection of our company culture,” said Chief Human Resources & Ethics Officer Catherine Scarlett. “Our employees are our most important asset and we strive to make NBT a great place to work.”

In early March, NBT employees across 10 counties (Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, St. Lawrence and Tioga) were asked to complete a confidential survey for the annual event. Their positive responses secured NBT’s position as one of nine companies that will be recognized in the 101+ Employees category.

The full list of rankings and NBT’s placement on it will be revealed September 16.
