MURPHY HIRED AS SENIOR COMMERCIAL BANKING RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

SYRACUSE, NY (January 2, 2020) – NBT Bank Regional President Rick Shirtz recently announced Michael Murphy joined the bank as Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager. Murphy is based at NBT’s Offices in the AXA Towers.

Murphy has over 20 years of experience in commercial banking and real estate in the Syracuse and Central New York market. Prior to joining NBT, he was a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for Key Bank.

Murphy earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Greater Syracuse program. An active member of his community, Murphy currently serves as the Board President for Marcellus Youth Soccer League and as a board member for Marcellus Youth Basketball league. He also serves as a committee member for the Central New York Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
