NBT BANK PROMOTES LARUSCH TO DIRECTOR OF WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT

JOHNSON CITY, NY (October 14, 2021) - NBT Bank Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff Catherine Scarlett announced Richard LaRusch has been named Director of Workforce Management. In this new role, LaRusch is responsible for leading a team of Human Resources Business Partners in providing strategic support to leaders of specific business divisions.

“Richard has proved to be a valuable partner and employee advocate,” Scarlett said. “His leadership and expert counsel will enable our company to continue to stay true to our relationship-based culture.”

LaRusch joined NBT Bank in 2012 as Human Resources Generalist. He has advanced through the organization, serving as HR Manager and HR Business Partner before taking on his current role.

LaRusch earned a bachelor's degree from SUNY Geneseo and has completed the Graduate School of Banking for Human Resources Management. He is also active in the community, serving as Vice President of the Charles F. Johnson PTA and a member of the Binghamton University Engineering Design Division (EDD) External Advisory Board.
