ERRINGTON PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT

Buffalo, NY (March 1, 2019) – NBT Bank President of Wealth Management Timothy Brenner announced Catherine Errington, CTFA has been promoted to Vice President and Trust Officer for NBT Wealth Management. In this role, Errington is responsible for complete administration of a significant group of specialized, sensitive and higher net worth accounts, including trusts, estates and agencies. She is based in NBT’s Trust Administration Center in Buffalo.

“Catherine brings extensive knowledge of taxation, accountings, investments, clients’ financial objectives, Division policies and procedures, and governing law,” Brenner said. “She also provides tremendous guidance and direction to junior officers with respect to trust administration.”

Errington has over thirty years of experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Buffalo and an MBA from St. Bonaventure University. She is also actively involved with Girl Scouts of Western NY, Angel Gowns of WNY, and Knit It Forward-Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
