NBT WELCOMES COWAN AND DZIEDZIC TO UTICA TEAM
UTICA, NY (JULY 6, 2023) – NBT Bank has welcomed Michael Cowan as Vice President and Commercial Banking Relationship Manager and Matthew E. Dziedzic as Assistant Vice President and Senior Business Banking Officer. Both will be based in NBT’s Utica Financial Center.
Cowan is responsible for working closely with commercial customers in the Mohawk Valley to find the right financial solutions to help enhance their businesses. He comes to NBT with 19 years of financial professional experience, including 12 years in commercial banking. Cowan earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. A Utica native, Cowan is looking forward to giving back to the community after spending the last nine years in Arizona.
Dziedzic is responsible for working with small business owners in the Mohawk Valley and Syracuse markets to identify products and services that will help them meet their business goals. He has more than 10 years of banking experience, with roles in both branch management and business banking. Over the last 10 years, he has also run his own insurance agency. He earned his associate degree in business management from SUNY Morrisville and bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Dziedzic serves as the Council President for the Leatherstocking Council BSA and on the finance committee at St. Mary's Church in New York Mills.
