ALEXANDER PROMOTED IN CAPITAL REGION

ALBANY, NY (September 7, 2021) – NBT Bank Regional President David Krupski announced that Alan Alexander was recently promoted to Regional Commercial Banking Manager in the Capital Region. He is based at NBT Bank’s Capital Region Financial Center located at 80 Wolf Road, Suite 101, in Albany.

Alexander joined NBT Bank in 2015 and has more than 28 years of banking experience. In his new role, he is responsible for high-level development, implementation and oversight of Capital Region commercial lending strategies at NBT. Prior to joining NBT Bank, he served as senior relationship manager for Key Bank’s Commercial Banking Division and portfolio manager at KeyBanc Capital Markets.

A resident of Delmar, Alexander earned his master’s degree from the University at Albany and bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is currently treasurer and board member of the Advance Albany County Alliance Local Development Corporation, president of the board of directors for Stakeholders Inc., and congregational president for Saint Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. He also serves on NBT’s Inclusion Roundtable, a cross-sectional group representing employees from diverse geographies, tenure, lines of business, gender, culture, race and more. The Inclusion Roundtable is responsible for guiding decision making when it comes to celebrating, educating and developing plans for the company’s Diversity and Inclusion mission.
