About “Buffalo Joe”

A Buffalo native, Joe Andreessen’s love of football goes way back. Andreessen kicked off his career playing for Lancaster High School. After a rookie minicamp tryout, Andreessen went Pro in May 2024 and was nicknamed “Buffalo Joe” by quarterback Josh Allen.

Wanting to give back to the city that shaped his career, Andreessen started The Buffalo Joe Children’s Foundation, which aims to empower and uplift children facing financial, mental, or physical challenges.

Community Involvement is a core value at NBT and we’re excited to support the mission of The Buffalo Joe Children’s Foundation which is rooted in the very principles that drove Andreessen: gratitude, heart, and hustle.
