Institutional Investments
Pension plans, 401(k) plans, foundations, endowments, insurance companies, hospitals, nonprofit organizations and corporations share two things in common. First off, long-term strength and stability are directly connected to the performance of chosen investments. Secondly, our experienced team is here to help them all.
We provide investment management and administrative services to all types of institutional clients. And in each case, we’re committed to getting to know you and understanding your organization’s unique needs and goals. From there, we work with you to develop the right investment strategy and portfolio.
Once in place, our team closely monitors your portfolio to ensure it remains in line with your target allocations, and to strive for maximum performance. It’s all part of our commitment to continuously managing your investments intelligently, responsibly and with your goals in mind.
Based on your objectives and our outlook for the economy and the financial markets, an asset allocation is developed, which is designed to achieve the investment goals, while maintaining consistency with risk tolerance.
We have an objective manager selection process with a focus on achieving future outperformance. Our process is fully open architecture with no proprietary funds used. We use best in class mutual funds/managers for portfolio components. Manager oversight is continuous to avoid style drift and underperformance.
An Investment Policy Statement serves as the blueprint for designing and managing your portfolio. We will assist in developing an investment policy which clearly defines the following: objective(s) of the funds under management, the responsibilities of the interested parties, the portfolio guidelines and asset allocation, allowable and prohibited investments, performance/benchmark standards, and expectations for communication and reporting.
Portfolios are constructed in accordance with the Investment Policy Statement while using the funds/managers that have passed our rigorous and objective screening process. Portfolios are monitored and rebalanced if out of line with our target allocations or to refine, where necessary, the investment allocation based on anticipated changes in the economy and the financial markets as determined by our investment committee.
